The West Moonah Community House commenced in 1985 when a group of interested people from the West Moonah area began to offer organised activities at the local school. After a few years, we found accommodation in a draughty old house a few streets from the school, but, by 1991, we were moved into our brand new, purpose built house in Springfield Avenue.
Our Vision
A place for living and learning together with enjoyment
A place to build bridges for all nationalities and both genders
A place to feel safe and accepted
A place to belong and grow
A place where decisions are share
A place to value and respect one another
A place where new ideas and change are welcomed
A place for opportunities - to try new things
We work together to make our cause known, to reach out to other groups who share our vision. Whether you’re ready to lend a hand at one of our activities or have photos or articles to share about a recent event, here’s the place to do it.
